“Nice clean room, quiet location on the edge of the town. One thing though, the room I booked said countryside views? I think it would be fairer to say countryside location, there was no view, apart from the carpark. ”

“Beautiful building and property. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge, fan and comfortable chairs and bed. Good restaurant in the building too. Enjoyed the critters in the yard: cats, peacocks, Guinea hens, chickens, geese, and scrunchy faced pigs. Would have loved to have stayed longer. ”

“Clean, quiet room with comfy beds. Warm, modern bathroom with great shower. Very friendly, helpful staff & lovely food. Good views but you do need a car to get to it & there are no paths for a walk. ”

“We found this hotel and it’s an absolute gem! Nestled above Lake Windermere, it has a lovely atmosphere and comfy rooms. We had both dinner and breakfast there and they were both tasty and to a high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We would definitely stay there again”
