Xmas away day was excellent.

Staff were friendly,attentive and helpful. The hotel was decorated wonderfully for Xmas, was comfortable and warm. Overall it was an excellent short stay holiday.

A genuine 5 stars

Genuinely fantastic . We were looking for a quiet get away but with a touch of class. Rooms were fantastic, food was great, and I like my food. Staff were fantastic .

Very easy access to seafront and town. 3 mins from train station that could take you to other coastal and inland towns or as far away as Manchester and beyond. Breakfast good as was bar menu. Never tried dinning or the pool.

Great hotel and great, friendly staff

I dont usually leave reviews, but this was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at, mainly due to the great service from the staff. There was a wine tasting session with 5 course meal being held on the night we stayed, which was a really enjoyable and fun evening. Would definitely stay again.

The area where the hotel is situated is fantastic, no traffic, no car noise, just nature! The staff was very friendly! The hotel is very close to lots of shops restaurants etc! It is also close to the city centre! I recommend this hotel from my heart! We already booked another stay for July! I can not wait to be back again!

My stay at The Grange Hotel was pleasant and the staff went out of their way to help me in terms of room comfort and a slightly early breakfast (I had to leave earlier than breakfast start time). The food was tasty and of a good standard. In terms of the room, whilst it had a view towards the sea, I would have expected a larger room for the price but this is fairly typical of this type of property ie the charm of the place is in the character of the building and grounds....and this place does have appeal. Overall, was a pleasant stay.

Very disappointed! We liked the rooms, the staff, the food. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the rail station and a walk through lovely gardens to the shopping and restaurant area. However, five of us went for a spa weekend to celebrate a birthday. The spa was a great disappointment. The tiny steam room had a peculiar unpleasant smell. The jacuzzi did not work nor did the only shower in the pool area. Only one of the showers in the ladies’ changing room worked. A lot of our time was spent at Lake Windermere instead, paddle boarding and swimming (in the rain).
