“The Dundas Arms is a warm welcoming hotel in an interesting setting between canal and river on the edge of a lovely village. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was busy with good service and a good menu of delicious food. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. “We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that.”

“Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.”

“Good size rooms with a balcony . Comfy beds . Tea and making coffee facilities. Some rooms allow dogs if you book ahead. Excellent choice for breakfast.”

“The hotel was great and had a relaxing atmosphere. Good food and the staff were helpful and friendly. The spa was nice but in the smaller side so I would try and go during quieter periods. The room was a good size and very clean. At breakfast there was a good amount to choose from if you don’t have any specific dietary requirements.”
