The room was of a good size unfortunately we were they on the hottest day in May 2026 on record & the room faced west which made it very hot & unbearable to stay in it. The hotel did provide a fan which helped marginally. This room requires an air conditioner. Would not recommend stay there if in a hot spell. The hotel is in a good location & parking was good. They advertised cocktails 2 for 12 pounds but do not honor it on bank Holiday even though signed are up everywhere.

Very nice hotel, great location. But noisy late at night but not too bad. My room was excellent, large, well-equipped and comfortable. Needed another light in the bathroom. Check out time of noon would be better than 11am (just in case you need it). Car park was very secure. Would definitely stay here again.

We checked in late, and the staff were super friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dinners. The pub has such a cozy atmosphere, and the chef and waitress were amazing. Big thanks to the manager too for keeping a table for us without a booking — really appreciated! Overall, a lovely place with great service. We’re so glad we chose to stay here!
