“A beautiful house, with a spacious and comfortable room - with a massive bath! (We paid extra for the room with a bath and we’re not disappointed.) It was wonderfully peaceful and felt so relaxing. The bed was very soft but we nevertheless slept really well because of the lovely atmosphere, quiet and airiness of the room. Friendly and professional staff. “Gorgeous hotel in beautiful Yorkshire. Our 3 day stay was wonderful. Large comfy rooms with huge bed. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. Garden was perfect to sit in, with a cosy summerhouse. Breakfast was stunning - local produce, even down to the apple juice produced from their own orchard. Honey and jams all very local too, as were the ingredients of the cooked breakfasts. Bar stocks local beers and spirits. Andrew and Lucinda are perfect hosts. ”

“All good! Room lovely and clean with a great view of the sea; breakfast was lovely too - pancakes with maple syrup (and or bacon if you chose) along with other choices. Because of the weather we didn’t end up taking our dog but saw many there and it’s lovely and dog friendly. A nice quiet room at the back for a chat and a drink and we enjoyed an evening meal there too”
