“Room very dated. Shower soaks the bathroom. Shower seal hanging off so water poured onto the floor. Bath panel full of grime across the top and room carpet quite stained. Out view was a brick wall. I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. It certainly was not worth £159”

“We stayed for 2 nights in a very small double standard room. No storage space,just a bar about a metre long to hang a couple of items on and small bedside drawers .There was a complimentary breakfast provided and tea making facilities but only a tiny stool so breakfast had to be eaten sitting on the bed. All that being said the room was clean and the bed . In the shower room there is a small towel rail but only big enough for hand towels,we had to drape the wet bath towels over the shower door....

“We had a fabulous 2 nights stay at the hotel, and we had a room with a hot tub which was fantastic. The spa facilities were excellent, very relaxing and well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner on both days which again was excellent, plenty of choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. “Beautiful old property but unfortunately hasn’t been maintained. Very tired. Rooms had visible damp, peeling walls, broken glass in windows and flaking window frames. Bathrooms weren’t very clean, mouldy edges and rusting showers. Breakfast didn’t have items on menu. Manager eventually moved us to a better room but outside in the corridor were buckets catching the rain. Unfortunately unable to receive any refund for our first nights stay.
