The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. “Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too.”

“The hotel is well placed to explore the area. The room was comfortable, clean and great for the 2 nights we stayed. The bar was cosy with the wood burner on, breakfast set you up for the day and dinner was tasty and substantial 😁 The staff were friendly and helpful; we would stay again”

“Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel.”
