“The hotel and pub were very pleasant. The rooms were well-equipped and the food was excellent. However, the service at the pub was inconsistent. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high. “It was a nice little hotel, room was spotless and the staff were very friendly. However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward. Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future.”

“room was of good standard staff were very polite and accommodating enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again / one small suggestion maybe a mop of some sort in the on suite as floor stayed very wet most of the time after showering thank you ”

“Bit disappointed really with the lady of the house.She seemed very helpful offered her services as a cab to pick our car up which was very nice of her so I took her up on that and she said put another £10 on the bill which I paid gladly. When she spoke to my wife a little later my wife offered her £20 pound for the journey and she gladly took it without mentioning that I had already paid but on her conscious be it won’t be going back strangely enough”

“Overall we Would recommend the pub Staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast was excellent with good choices There were some timing issues on our first night dining in the restaurant . The area around the pub is picturesque and easy driving distance to Chichester and the coast”
