Great for a few hours sleep before an early morning flight, we were a family of 4, checked in our bags the night before with BA as I don’t think there would have been space for suitcases in the room, location is right next to security so we were through extremely quickly for our 6am flight.

The Bloc hotel is in the perfect spot if you need an overnight stay for an early morning flight - right in the Gatwick South terminal. It's very clean, the rooms are nice and comfortable. Liked the "all on your mobile" approach for access, lighting, etc.

You stay here purely for convenience and the room is very basic and the bathroom even more so. The discount off the restaurants helps offset the price you pay so worth it. We had an early check in which drove our stay and travel to Gatwick by train.

The room was small but very comfortable and convenient as it was at the airport and we were just spending the night to catch a connecting flight in the morning. Bed was very comfortable and got a great night of sleep. Very compact (reminded me of sleeping in a camper) but did the job.
