“Staff, food , spa excellent. Service was a bit slow but food hot, extremely tasty; very courteous and friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy ; Room keys originally incorrectly programmed which was rectified, still very difficult to open door, no lock on bathroom door, heating in room did not work, mattress lumpy and uncomfortable pillows hard and uncomfortable”

“Modern and confortable”

“Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.”

“Immaculate room and very spacious with comfy big arm chairs. Bathroom was spotless too and shower lovely and roomy. Breakfast and dinners were delicious!! The pancakes came with loads of yummy bacon and plenty maple syrup! The fish and chips were plentiful, steak pie was hearty and filling! Will be back!”

Desayuno bien. ”

“Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!”

“Our stay was generally good. A couple of comments. Our hot tap in Room 8 was stuck and not working and the plug sockets were strangely placed in room meaning the kettle could only be operated balanced on a chair or inside the cupboard.”

“Very nice place to stay and Evening meal and breakfast very good. I stayed in the rooms outside the building which there are around 5-6 rooms. Definitely would stay again although I do hope the hot water and heating will work on my next visit.”
