“Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!”

“Met with a friendly welcome and shown to our room. Whilst we had our own bathroom it was down the corridor from our room. Not a problem at all but unexpected. Food served in the pub is excellent and has a nice beer garden. The pub was very busy when we arrived and had to park a bit down the road but I moved the car into the main car park later in the day. Continental breakfast is available and just help yourself, this suited us. Nice pub and room. Would recommend.”

“The quaint historic room was comfortable and with an en- suite and soaking tub. The restaurant was like a high level restaurant with an extensive menu. I had the Rogan Josh curry which was amazing. The potato soup was the BEST I have EVER had!! Our breakfast was very good too. Full English with local sausage. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. It was so peaceful and quiet. Worth being a little bit out of town. So relaxing.”

“I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.”
