“En general, agradable la experiencia el alojarse en el hotel, aunque si lo haces por EXPEDIA, te dan las habitaciones bien refundida, escondida y pequeña. El registro lo hice en en el lobby. Sencillo y fácil, pues tienen lista tu habitación al llegar. Mi registro fue muy bueno, la persona amable, pero sin disponibilidad de parqueo inmediato. “Very difficult access for parking”

“We stayed for 2 nights in a very small double standard room. No storage space,just a bar about a metre long to hang a couple of items on and small bedside drawers .There was a complimentary breakfast provided and tea making facilities but only a tiny stool so breakfast had to be eaten sitting on the bed. All that being said the room was clean and the bed . In the shower room there is a small towel rail but only big enough for hand towels,we had to drape the wet bath towels over the shower door....

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

“We had a fabulous 2 nights stay at the hotel, and we had a room with a hot tub which was fantastic. The spa facilities were excellent, very relaxing and well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner on both days which again was excellent, plenty of choice. All staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it was.
