Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. “I had a great time here. Great location you're very close train station and where most buses go. It's about 20 minutes walk down to Bowness. Both Michelle and Christopher very frendly. I would recommend this guest house. Lots of bars and restraunts near by as well. ”

“Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.”

Richard is a right bloke, would loved to have stayed up talking to him at the bar but after walking the local fells went to relax in the brilliant room. The hosts put their heart & soul into making everything perfect. We would certainly return. ”
