The guy we checked in with was very helpful and did what he could to fix the issues…I needed an accessible room for my dad he is in a wheelchair chair and can’t walk at all and he switched it but we got down the hall the room was dirty. Dirty towels on bed chair and in bathroom. The sheets were dirty as was the bathroom. Then he moved us to a regular room the ac cover was off and laying on floor the bed sheets on one bed were dirty the toilet had hair and pee on it. Got late checkout (12) and the lady came banging on the door (1130) yelling at me saying ‘you know check out is today’ I told her yes & I got a late checkout as I talked to man early that mrg. Then I went downstairs to get luggage cart and she yelled at me again ‘are u checking out yet’ it was still 1150 I told her no and asked for a mgr and she kept giving me the run around. She was Indian or something all I know is I will never go there again.

The location is great and convenient. Just wished they would pay more attention to the maintenance side of things.

Great stay. Only complaint I could have would be the valet parking being that there was only one person working. They are not working 24 seven so when I got back from dinner about 9 PM I had to park my own vehicle at the hotel behind the Maverick. Just note this is a very busy area and Friday and Saturday nights. the streets are pretty ridiculous earlier that afternoon, I did have a small issue. There was a guy, I’m assuming he was homeless downstairs, beating mongrels and I could hear it from my room on the ninth floor.

On my first day as soon as I checked in a dog was continuously barking to the point I had to report it. Same day at 3:00AM a fire alarm was blaring asking everyone to evacuate the hotel. I was on the ninth floor! When we got to the third floor the stairs were blocked and no instructions as to how to proceed, so we had to reenter the floor and use another exit. All that to be told it was a false alarm. The lack of security and safety was non existent. My room had a connecting door and the noise from kids left me sleepless another night. I do not recommend this hotel, besides that the valet parking is $69.00 per day. Hotel didn’t even comp a drink for the fire alarm chaos.
