I would most definitely stay again

I have stayed here multiple times. I love to stay here because of the history. Being the oldest hotel west of the Mississippi, it is probably not the nicest hotel in downtown, but to me it is the coolest. The location is super nice once you get there. Getting to the drop off area valet parking is always difficult and I forget how to get to it every time I stay. Easy walking distance to the Alamo, the mall, the riverwalk and tons of restaurants and bars. You must go to the bar at the hotel just to say you were in the bar where Teddy Rosevelt recruited the rough riders. We have stayed in the original section and have experienced “ghost” or heard things like kids laughing and playing in the hall @ 4am. We will stay here again.

Historical hotel convenient to local attractions and shopping. Lots of Alamo history and art to prepare you for a visit there. My room was small but comfortable.

Wonderful stay & very convenient to the airport!

They charged me for a bottle of water!! Smh

Good place to stay. Had a little hiccup getting picked up at the airport. But when Micheal did show up, he was apologetic, and very helpful when we asked about things to see and do in San Antonio.

Clean room

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. They have the most attentive staff of any hotel I’ve ever been to. Great location right on the river walk.
