Vacations Close To Golden Cap

Had a booked this as price was reasonable for an overnight stay on a family trip. We stayed on room 1414, layout a little quirky you walk into the bathroom. Basement room, but had a little outside area so didn’t feel dark. Coffee area just outside the room(plant based milk not my thing). Room really clean. My only comment is that you can hear the tube rumble for most of the night but get that this is out of the hotels control. Central location, number of places to eat locally and two minutes from Paddington station

The location of this hotel is what draws people there. The rooms are small, but you are in the location for the sites, not to stay in the room. It is a very busy hotel. The lobby is always busy. It is currently undergoing renovations, which makes the lobby look even smaller. The staff are very helpful, but we found that the housekeeping was lacking. We had run out of tissues, toilet paper, and towels. The room we were in got sun all day long (and the summer days in London are very long), so we had to keep the curtains drawn to help keep the room cooler because the air conditioners did not go lower than 72 degrees F. The food was delicious, the drinks were delightful, the staff very friendly, and the view beautiful! I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is just amazing it’s in an amazing location with many restaurants to discover close but also its restaurant is great , with a good taste and food. I loved the smoothies they were so good and the best thing in this hotel is the attention ! They’re so kind. Ali , he was in touch with us many days before our arrival , he organised our transfers to and From Heathrow! He also organised our transfer to Wembley Stadium to see Harry Styles concert , Youseff a lovely driver he took care of us and waited for us just outside the stadium. The bell boy which I don’t remember his name , but with a beautiful smile and curly hair. He speaks a perfect Spanish and showed us and instructed us our room. Ali reserved for us the Penthouse which is really a penthouse , with to big rooms and bathrooms and it was so beautiful! The dinner at the restaurant with amazing pizzas and the merluzzo fish. So well cooked also as the burratta perfectly cooked! I loved the mocktails which are perfect for people like me that never drink alcohol.

Excellent as always

No AC, cold water available, elevator just old and dated and rooms and bathroom are tiny for luggage and two people. Location is amazing and the staff was so nice.
