“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

“The staff from the beginning were always very friendly and helpful and provided very useful tips which improved our holiday experience. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The coffee provided in the room and at breakfast was excellent. The breakfast choices were very good and the quality of the breakfast and cakes were excellent. I looked forward each morning to it. The location was ideal as it is on a quiet road but very near the train station and main shops etc.”

“A pleasant, convenient stopover on our road trip This was a really nice spot to break up our road trip. The on-site bar was a highlight, offering a great food and drink menu alongside warm, attentive service from the staff. Having a quality breakfast included in the stay was a definite plus and set us up well for the drive ahead. The room itself was slightly dated, but everything was clean, functional, and comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay...
