“The building and grounds here are absolutely beautiful. It's clearly been a wonderful place to stay at some point. Having said that, our trip was generally very disappointing. We arrived in the evening, and there were no staff at all to be seen. There was a bar open, with music playing, and no staff. A sign noted to call a mobile number for help. “We went as a group of 3 couples. Upon arrival we were made more than welcome. Every single member of staff where so friendly. Our rooms where spotlessly clean, and got cleaned every day with fresh towels each day. The breakfasts where spot on, there was something there for evey dietary requirements. We ate in the restaurant each evening, and the food was amazing. As a group of six we well made good use of the Bar on our three nights stay... This was our first visit to Carnoustie, and what a...
