“Absolutely amazing hotel! Modern, spotlessly clean and such a lovely place to stay. The staff at reception are fantastic, and the manager in particular is so friendly, welcoming and always goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. We now regularly stay at this hotel because of the excellent service and the way we’re always made to feel so welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel — you definitely won’t be disappointed with your stay! ❤️”

“Lovely hotel but Manor House rooms not on a par to the Celtic Manor Also £13.50 a day cheapest parking hurt Lovely breakfast and use of main hotel but next time I will stay in the Celtic Manor and only stay one night not 3 as nearly £40 to park my car when staying 3 nights plus that car park is a fair walk as it was raining has put me off staying longer again”

“My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”

“Buenas vistas en el Desayuno”

“The Sloop Inn is in a convenient location to explore the area. The bedroom was small and had too much furniture; the two chairs took up all the space left in the room to move around, open a suitcase. The only power sockets were behind the bed. In order to plug in my phone and other chargers, I had to pull the bed away from the wall about 15cm in a room that was already too small. The bathroom sink light did not work. The staff were great.”

“The first room we were allocated had not been cleaned since the last occupancy however reception gave us another room and upgraded us for which we w ere grateful”

“Las zonas comunes están reformadas, pero las habitaciones no han sido reformadas en años. Está todo bastante gastado, se nota que es un hotel que ya tiene sus años. Como punto positivo decir que la cama es muy cómoda. Todas las habitaciones tienen bañera pero tanto la mía como la de una compañera de trabajo no se podían usar. El último día de mi estancia por fin lo arreglaron, tras reclamar durante 3 días. El desayuno es muy British. Si no te gustan los beans en el desayuno, la selección no...
