"This hotel is a bit tired. The pool was dirty. The room needed a good cleaning. The beds are hard and they only had a single sheet on the beds, no blankets. We asked for more pillows and got a couple but it would have been nice to have more pillows. The breakfast in the morning had a nice selection. But the best part is that it was right across the street from the Bumba Meu Boi festival! We were in Sao Luis to go to a festival and were quite happy that is was so close. The down side is...

"The restaurant food is excellent and reasonable priced. if you do not want food poisoning avoid restaurant in town and eat at hotel. The breakfast is also excellent with local fruits. In general if you want to sleep well at night, carry mosquito net with you since no hotel has osquito net and at night one or two mosquitos will find their way to your room. Having a mosquito net amd install that on your bed is the best dolution. I hope the hotels in this area and also Atins start to install that...

"The first room we stayed at was depressing, dated. It was rundown. The tv was the size a bit bigger than an iPad and not working. There was lots of noise coming from the outside. We complained about the room and they moved us for a different one. It was a bit better. The hotel looks good from the outside. Location is excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff for the most time was helpful."
