"Please tip housekeepers, they do an awesome job! This place is conveniently located near Parque de la marimba n other nearby attractions. Transportation is easy, although I would suggest Uber instead of taxis or any other public transportation. Five stars for this hotel. Rooms are a bit outdated but overall is a beautiful hotel, nice pool to kill the heat"

"The Holiday Inn Express is a very practical (perhaps the only?) option in Tapachula. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the room and facilities are clean. There is a nice pool and the gym equipment is not shabby. Everything works, which is not always the case around here. There is a good breakfast and a good selection of restaurants on the strip mall nearby. Eurocar rents from a booth in the lobby."

"Excellent position in Palenque, very close to ADO station and in a nice street with plenty of nice restaurants. Lovely pool area, spacious nicely laid out hotel, very quiet, and very clean. Couldn’t fault it. "

"Friendly and helpful reception, cute rooms with nice gardens. The pool needed improving though, like the addition of some sun bathing, deck chairs not just plastic garden chairs plus plants need abit more looking after in that area. As well as the pond topping up with some more water. "

"This is a small hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are lighted better than in any of the 100 or so Mexican hotels that I have stayed in. There is no restaurant but there are excellent places to eat close by----also a nice bakery. We enjoyed the coffee maker in the room---not common in Mexican hotels. I really liked this hotel."
