“We stayed here for one night on our way to Minehead and it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air-conditioned rooms. On arrival, we were greeted by a sign saying the hotel was under refurbishment and there was no air conditioning. This was never mentioned when we booked. “Budget room, does the job! For £45 a night including breakfast, I wasn't expecting loads. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, the kettle and TV worked and the shower was all good. Don't expect a 5* experience from some cheap rooms above a pub, and you'll be just fine. Close to town centre. Breakfast was really good, and staff were great.”
