“The hotel and pub were very pleasant. The rooms were well-equipped and the food was excellent. However, the service at the pub was inconsistent. While some tables were served, we were not and this was unclear. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. However, the room temperature was excessively high. “It was a nice little hotel, room was spotless and the staff were very friendly. However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward. Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future.”

“1 Star – Not Recommended This is not really a hotel but an old countryside pub with a few guest rooms. The location is extremely remote, and it is pitch black outside at night with very little lighting. The building is old, the rooms feel dated, and the overall experience was disappointing. If you’re expecting a comfortable hotel, you will likely be disappointed. I would not stay here again.”

“Beautiful position on river and near restaurants. Nicely decorated hotel. Pleasant helpful staff “Continental breakfast” very poor. No cold meat, smoked salmon, salad vegetables, crusty bread or pastries. Just cheap wrapped sliced bread. Nice fruit but cheap “Greek style” yoghurt from Tesco. No dressing table or tv in room. Bathroom very small with no shelves. Definitely not worth the 5star price.”
