“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy.”

The bedroom was pretty modern and well kitted out but the bathroom was rather tired and needs updating. They have live music till late in a Friday & Saturday night which didn’t bother us but just an FYI. Overall good experience & would recommend.”

“The website for the hotel says take in the views from the terrace, what views? We could see nothing but a brick wall and a car park. The room was quite dark with a small window. Bathroom needed updating with no slip mat in the shower, which made it very slippery. No toilet brush so the toilet wasn’t kept clean. We asked for a do not disturb sign for our door, it was useless as we could not close the door when we used it and it just dropped on the floor. Our wardrobe only had three hangers and...
