“Beautiful property. Staff in restaurant in spa were lovely. Bar lady in hotel was miserable. Front of house staff could have been more friendly. Could be an amazing experience. Management needs to work on the staffs front of house skills.”

“La habitación estaba muy limpia y cuidada. El personal era muy amable y el desayuno delicioso. Muy recomendable. ”

“Stayed here lots, good hotel”

“We made a very last minute booking to the hotel and arrived just 20 minutes later. Kimberley on reception was amazing, helping us with a smooth check in and a really warm welcome. She got us a table in the restaurant too where we had a lovely dinner and great breakfast the next morning. The room in this old historical inn was very clean and comfy. Low doors and winding staircases add to the historial fun. The gardens are very well kept and pretty and we enjoyed exploring them after breakfast.”

“Fantastic room with great beams and a fantastic bath.”

“The moment you walked in the door, you were greeted with an excellent welcome. The room was fabulous, and spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food and service , both in the evening and at breakfast was excellent too. Would thoroughly recommend.”

“10 x better than last time we stayed, having been refurbished. Clean room, really comfortable bed and an average shower.”

“The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were brilliant. Lovely, cosy, traditional pub. Very, very clean, cute room with great amenities. We can't ask for any more. Thank you so much. We loved reading about the family as well in the guest book and all the other properties. We definitely recommend staying!”

“The staff was great, they treated us very kindly”

“Hotel muy céntrico, Habitación amplia de agradable decoración, muy bien mantenida con plancha, secador, banqueta de maletas y buenos productos de aseo. Televisión muy grande. Desayuno incluido fabuloso en variedad. Personal eficaz y muy amable. Volveremos pues viajamos a menudo a Canterbury”

“Delicious food”

“Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.”

“Wonderful room.. No TV, which we knew, and that was a pleasure. Staff very polite and helpful. Nothing seemed too much for them. The Wi-Fi will be needed, if you want the internet, as poor reception. Excellent breakfast to top it all. Third visit, we'll be back again, maybe next year. :)”
