The hotel is in a good location about a 15 minute walk from Canterbury Town centre. Nice big clean comfortable rooms. Good food and great staff.

This was a comfortable older hotel that was walking distance to Canterbury Cathedral and so much more. I would be happy to recommend this hotel! Just one caveat - there is no elevator! We also enjoyed our meals there!

We spent four nights here, the staff were all lovely, especially the breakfast staff. Our room was lovely, quiet considering it was close to a main road and roundabout. 10 minutes walk to the town centre, a map was provided. Large carpark. We had breakfast included which was continental and English. Restaurant was open at dinner time and evening. Food was lovely.

We have stayed twice at The Victoria and will no doubt stay in the future. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. The building is old and tired, but it is clean and very good value for money, The restaurant is welcoming and the food is good too. The location is convenient to walk into Canterbury. Parking is FREE at The Victoria.

This is a hidden gem, don't let the outside make a difference! Some ares are bit rough, but the rooms are marvelous the king bed actually a KING bed, the restaurant top food taste! Rooms very clean and updated!

This hotel is very convenient and walking distance to the town centre (approx. 15 walk.) Parking is ample and a bonus that it is onsite. The staff were really helpful and very friendly, the breakfast was well cooked and ample. The hotel itself appears rundown in places, or perhaps a better word would be tired. The carpets are well worn, and one of the net curtains in the room was ripped, the décor needs updating but the room was clean and the bed comfy. There was no fridge in the room, which was a downside. On the whole we would recommend staying here if travelling to Canterbury.

It was a lovely looking property. Great location about 20 minutes walk to the centre. You can see the cathedral from where we were. Good sized room with a good supply of drink, tea, coffee and chocolate drink and biscuits were supplied. The bed was really comfortable. The TV a good size with freeview. The room had a nice view of the garden.

The food at the hotel was very good and excellent value. The bar was a bit dingy and old fashioned. The weather was hot but the hotel provided good fans. There was plenty of hot water and a very comfortable bed. Overall it was good value and we enjoyed our stay.
