It was decent but I would never stay again. The parking is included but it's pretty open and it has bars that separates it from the sidewalk where about 12 homeless people were at the whole night. We thought we would give the a RIU a try I wasn’t very happy that 2 weeks after I booked the hotel I was sent another bill for the Hotel Amenities that are useless. I wasn’t happy with the bathroom it was very small and old fashioned….. I had to climb over the tall wall of the bathtub to take a shower. The toilet was another issue…. It barely flushed and took forever for the water to refil. We gave it a try and will never go back again!

Good amenities in the room and in the property with free breakfast and free parking. Good stay overall.

Full disclosure. This property is under major renovation and the common areas are unsightly. The room was clean and in great shape. The parking was very safe and very affordable. The location is amazing. If you are looking for a great deal right in the wharf, ignore renovations and hallways. This is a great spot to stay for very cheap and very safe in the heart of the wharf. Again, the room was great.

Stayed here for a weekend just to explore the city and have a fun trip. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, it is not. I had a more meaningful interaction with the bus driver than the staff. No concierge service. No friendly service whatsoever, no information…when I had an issue with the WiFi not working I was met with a dismissive and rude attitude. The room had no mirror besides in the bathroom. There was no storage for anything in the room. The overall cleanliness was questionable. My friend and I both suffered from puffy red eye every morning from the air vent (dirty). The cork board was falling off the walls, WiFi did NOT work - if you need to do any business or work stay somewhere else! The last day the bathroom had a leak and flood. Be aware that this hotel will try and charge you a $90+ amenity fee a “mandatory fee” which is a joke and illegal in California - for services advertised as complimentary such as WiFi and the mini plastic bottle of water upon your arrival…oh and the s’mores which you can roast over the fire pit that is defunct or eat at the attached restaurant that is never open. Apparently there is a gym?! I would never know because at check in our credit card was taken but no information was ever given about anything-honestly the strangest hotel experience ever. If you plan to take a Lyft, the zoned pickup spots are 5 blocks down from the hotel. You’ll have to figure all this out on your own. Don’t bother asking staff-they have a wall to stare at.
