“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. “Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...
