“We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊”

“A beautiful old building in a great location but it needs a lot of money spending on it. The room was large but extremely dated. Carpet had stains, one of the beds had a castor missing which meant it wasn’t level. The bathroom was very old & the shower had no pressure. The mattresses were old and springy/soft. Could be a wonderful place but sadly not worth the nightly rate for what was supposed to be an executive room.”

“The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and windows that opened enough to provide good airflow. There were a couple of minor issues in the bathroom. The plastic trim around the shower base had a large hole, leaving sharp edges exposed, so you had to be careful not to catch your toes. The light above the mirror also had a bulb out. “Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. Our room only had a fan to keep...

“Great location, I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Hotel offers free car parking. And great views of Jubilee Campus. The Flexi card (to access the room using my phone) didn’t work. So I had to get a physical card. But other than that - a straightforward visit. Sometimes noise from the atrium did echo around the building - but it wasn’t a huge problem”

“Had a great overnight stay. Lovely room with view on golf course. Nice to have bath with separate shower. Reception team very kind and helpful as were the staff in Roosters restaurant and the breakfast room. I took advantage of the nearby included gym and pool (12 min drive or the hotel also has a free bookable shuttle). All in all I was very impressed.”
