“We welcomed the useful car park with my daughter’s pending wedding and ease of access to town. Room was clean but very hot although fan was provided but noisy overnight and didn’t rotate & only one window opened - Despite this and noisy guests in proximity - everything else was good. Breakfast and staff were helpful and especially at breakfast the staff member was pleasant and I noted took time to talk to guests and was very amenable. Thank you for a good stay prior to wedding. 😊”

“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. “The Hotel was great. We arrived around 8pm and did not have an evening meal but breakfast was fantastic. Room was spotless and had recently been refurnished to a high standard. Access was via a steep staircase so anyone with mobility issues may struggle. The only criticism was that the hotel is located on a very busy road junction so traffic noise continued all night and many large noisy lorries using the road. “Excellent warm welcome at checkin. Plenty of free parking. Food reasonably priced and presented. Rooms were excellent, very clean and modern. Very quiet and good quality blackout curtains. Followed with a delicious breakfast all orderable so no buffet. Great affordable stay. Only downside is nothing in area but that wasn’t needed”
