The breakfast was really good as was the lady that served us. The room was nice and big although in need of decorating with ripped off wallpaper and holes in the bathroom, plus the TV didn't work, which I presume the guy behind the bar knew as he didn't seem interested when we told him. All in all a good stay, worth what we paid.

Lovely pub with rooms just off the pub. Room and bathroom were spacious and bed was lovely a large and clean. Windows could do with a lick of paint but just a minor point. Staff were excellent and really helpful.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and generous. Full english, or any combination of those ingredients. Cereals are on offer but we didn't have those. Room 6, spacious and comfortable, some repairs needed in the ensuite, water lovely and hot.

For the price(£68) it was great value. Easy to check in at bar, room was spacious & clean. Curtains kept room dark at night. Bed was comfy & firm. Bath & shower(over bath). Kettle & amenities. TV was fine although remote didn’t work with that TV. Breakfast was included which was glass of OJ, coffee/Tea. Full english(tasty) Free car park at rear. Quiet all through night. I also had dinner in pub. Homemade steak pie, mash, peas & Gravy was lovely. Brownie sundae was fantastic. Also had 3 pints of ale. All in cost around £35, bargain!!!
