“When they say 3:00 check in they mean it. We arrived at 2:00 to see if we could check in early. There was no one to talk to. We called the # posted at the front desk but it went right to voicemail. When we returned around 3:00 a very nice staff person was there. Our room was very clean, bed comfortable but dated, carpet needs replacing, air conditioning worked well. We liked being downtown & the River Walk. Due to city construction projects we found it difficult to find parking.”

“I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no...

“Nice facilities, and outstanding customer service... discovered after the fact that check in was required before 10p, but we were much thankfully cared for despite the late night arrival. Looking forward to future trips with them and highly recommend!”
