Breezewood Vacations

The beds were absolutely terrible. Couldn't get a good night's sleep. People were doing fires right outside that smoked everybody out. Overall. Just disappointed. Check-In was terrible. Expedia said that the check-in hours were till 5:00 on Friday, which is incorrect. It's 4:00 . Therefore, we could not get our key and had to contact the after-hour person(who was great)who talked to the host to try to get our keys which took over an hour to get that taken care of and then they would not let us stay an hour later. Plus you have to return the keys to drop off box by 10:00. Not be out of the place at 10:00 and it is 10 minutes away from the Dropbox by car. This was supposed to be a peaceful break which turned out to be extremely stressful. The nice part is that they did have free roaming deer that have babies which was nice to see.

When we went to check in the girl was rude n told me the smoking room that I reserved was unavailable. However after telling her to cancel she then said well let me see if house keeping wants to clean it. Then we had to wait 15 more minutes for the room to be cleaned. Get to the room and the floor was not vacuumed, cobwebs everywhere,discusting stuff in the tub drain, dirt an inch thick behind the nightstand. Toilet ran every 15 minutes all night and the curtains didn't close all the way. Beds were not pillow top mattresses they were old spring mattresses with a pillow top cover and bedspreads were stained. So much for premium pillows they flattened right out.

Staff was nice. Room was terrible, phone didn’t even have a cord hooked to it. Bathroom was a mess dirt ring in the tub, towels were stained, had to go buy my own. Overall not a good experience!
