“The rooms were so hot couldn’t be helped in this heat but couldn’t sleep art all , gave us a fan but it wasn’t much good , breakfast was ok but on the first morning run out of orange juice and coffee machine wasn’t working that well . On the Saturday there was a wedding party music was loud into the night nobody told us in advance”

“It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea,coffees. The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing. “Great staff, unique location , excellent food , couple of small issues with the bathroom, quite a lot of limescale on the shower controls & adjacent tiles. Hot water in the basin took forever to even be lukewarm. Everything else up to scratch & would stay again .”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! ”

“We booked the room thinking we had access to the spa as all photos showed it, but when we got there we didn’t have access to most spa areas, which were a premium service on top of the room cost (over £250/night). The room was spacious but it’s old fashioned and didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. Disappointing.”

“The breakfast not replenished, no egg cups provided !!! Table in conservatory leg falling, shabby chairs. Slow service, staff saying Chef only just turned up. Dining room area full of cobwebs, cleaners need to look above eye level, The rooms shower facilities not great the floor not level . It’s such a shame as the outside of the building and views are great.”

“We were booked to stay for 3 days the staff were polite and friendly but our experience wasn't great to be honest the place looks tired and rundown they shut the bar early the 1st night we arrived due to lack of customers we were told ....we also had no idea it was being used for accommodating people who looked like asylum seekers ...there were possessions stacked outside the stairs to our accomodation and people loading vans for most of the time we stayed including in the middle of the night...
