“No enclosed garden for dogs , cars driving past daily to the lodge further on . Gravelled drive - noisy Cob webs every where . Rude owner and unhelpful . Property not dog or child friendly Local pub - very nice but you have to drive , there is no foot path also uphill . No local amenities No welcome hamper Poor information folder - The only information provided is the local Indian Will not be returning or recommending ”

“Convenient for our travel plans. Quite. Bathroom clean but stained bath and basin . Carpets and desk could do with an update . All staff very professional and helpful 10/10 Otherwise ok very pleasant stay . Thank you”

“The property was clean and tidy. Some areas could do with a facelift tired needs new decor but on the hole was pretty good. Well located in the town easy access to everything.”

“The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended”

“Staff were helpful & polite, the room was clean & well cared for. The toiletries were good quality & little touchs like the biscuits,popcorn,& crisps were thoughtful. Breakfast was varied & good sized portions.”
