“No enclosed garden for dogs , cars driving past daily to the lodge further on .
Gravelled drive - noisy
Cob webs every where .
Rude owner and unhelpful .
Property not dog or child friendly
Local pub - very nice but you have to drive , there is no foot path also uphill .
No local amenities
No welcome hamper
Poor information folder - The only information provided is the local Indian

Bathroom clean but stained bath and basin .
Carpets and desk could do with an update .

“We had stayed at the hotel before and had booked again because we had a lovely room but this time we were put in a terrible room which was dirty and very poor in comparison to the other one we had stayed in. The floor was filthy and the sides of the bed were stained. The bath grouting was dirty. Paying over £100 for the room I expected much better.”

“The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room!
The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere.
A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed.
Highly recommended”

“Staff were helpful & polite, the room was clean & well cared for. The toiletries were good quality & little touchs like the biscuits,popcorn,& crisps were thoughtful.
