“Great value for an overnight stop over with my family. But the toilet was teeny and no use for a tall person like me! Staff friendly and beds comfy, room a bit tired and no fridge. Good overall experience.”

“The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended”

“Wonderful property, enjoyable stay overall. Only frustrations were with not getting the set menu or 20% discount at dinner which was only realised after leaving. Breakfast service needs improving as the tea/coffee station was a drag and menus having pricing was confusing. Booked this hotel so I could get a quiet night of sleep in however our room had the ventilation unit outside the window so didn't get the silence I was excited for. “The cooked breakfast was very good but the coffee was weak. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was motel style with guest access at the back of the property and lead out onto a road where you take a path between houses to get round to the front of the building and the car park. The owners did let us take a short cut through the pub upon check-in and check-out. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot but there was mould on the bathtub tiles and on the curtains in the bathroom...

“For one night as a pass through to home, it was ok. But we will not be back. Pros- child friendly, suite was a good size, friendly owner. The bed was comfy and there is a Roku to be able to get a lot of channels. Breakfast was decent. Although it’s between 8-9 which was a bit early for us after a long day and then having to go looking for dinner and getting the kids settled. Trying to get them up for breakfast was hard. Cons- dog wee’s on the floor and even when told, it’s not even covered....
