“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“Overall, we found the hotel to be of reasonably high standard. The room was good, although missing a few refreshments at times, and the shower was held up by an elastic hair band! The signage throughout could do with improvement, as the breakfast room/restaurant is difficult to find if you have not stayed there before. The entrance seems to have a permanent "CAR PARK FULL" sign at the entrance, presumably to deter non-residents, and the exit barrier needs a code, but always seems to be open...
