Belmont Vacations

The staff was nice the ice machine wasn’t working and the pool and hot tub were nasty .. the room lighting wasn’t very good . Need brighter lighting. Hard to put make up on in dark room and bathroom

Staff were so kind and helpful and the property is beautiful

The room was pretty much as advertised, small, but ok for a place to sleep. What wasn't clear to me was it felt more like an apartment building, on a sketchy street that was very noisy at night (cars, blaring radios, drunk / high people arguing. There are less noisy places downtown that have better location & more like a hotel. I would not have rated this 8.8 our of 10.

I was charged a pet fee for my service dog. Because my disability wasn’t obvious I suppose he thought I was faking. I wasn’t going to discuss my diagnosis at the counter with a line of people waiting behind us. (Though he went to the ADA website and recited the info to me and everyone else waiting in line) Since I had already paid for the room through hotels.com, reimbursement was not an option. I work out of town and stay in different hotels around Texas and Louisiana, usually a few nights per week. This is the first hotel that has ever done this. My husband asked if we could check our 8 ft ladder. The hotel could not accommodate. Our key kept having issues locking us out. The staff’s explanation was that sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. Then there were roaches in the bathroom. This will be the first hotel we’ll put on a do not return list!!
