The room smelled musty. The bathroom had rotten baseboards in the bathroom. The room had a bee and crickets in the room. The window barely closed, didn’t lock. The pillows were very lumpy. Bad experience all around!

When I first got there the people were really rude. I asked about check in 3pm. you don’t even get a full 24 hrs in a room before you’re required to leave. When I got to the counter willing to pay the early fee the lady charged my card twice for the room. When I told her what she had done she kinda of argued with me. Then spoke to her housekeeper in Spanish like I wouldn’t understand how rude she was being. When I went to my room the bathroom had feces in the toilet. When I spoke to a different house keeper she told me the room had not been cleaned. I Went back to the front asked the lady to come check what that was in the toilet. She grabbed rags ensuring she would clean it. She said the same as me feces. However this time she had the housekeeper clean it. I tipped the housekeeper. Then my child and I went to the pool. We just jumped in it was so hot outside. Not realize the pool was infested with wasps. Upon getting out of the pool I took pictures of 15 wasp nests along the building exterior. If we were allergic this could have been dangerous. In the end their attitude got a little better. however I don’t think I’ll come back to this one.

LaQuinta Seguin is a nice facility and conveniently located near many eating places. The motel is fairly new. It is pet friendly, but there is a pet fee of $25 per pet. The air conditioning worked very good!! The only negative comment I have is about the carpet in the room. It was very dirty!! Don’t wear white socks while walking around your room, they will become disgustingly filthy!! Other than that it was a great place to stay.

Overall the stay was good. However, we had a non-smoking room but it smelled as though it had been a smoking room with air freshener sprayed over it...kind of a musty smell. Also, there were only two pillows on each bed and they were small.

The place overall was good. The pool is small, but we had fun! Not sure about but our microwave did not work in our room. The front desk even come checked it out. Had to use the broken microwave in the staffs kitchen. Had no center plate, burned our food, but we ate it. That sucked! Would have given a better star, but good is enough! Bed was comfortable but shower lacked.

The room is clean. However, the sink wouldn’t drain at all in the bathroom. And went down and complained and no one fixed it. We asked them for a plunger and they never brought one to the room. We had to wait until the next morning when it was checkout day, for they even came to fix the clogged drain. When asked a staff attendant about stuff, she looked at me like I was stupid and say much, no communication the potatoes were dry and the breakfast and the meat didn’t look that well. The air conditioner did work that was a plus.

Handicapped people with a pet needing a roll in shower beware. Our room was clean and comfortable. It took over an hour to get checked in because I had reserved the accessible room with a roll in shower, there is only one and is on the first floor. We have a Cocker Spaniel and have stayed in that room before with our dog with no problem. When checking in we were assigned to a room on Floor 2 that had a tub shower because of a "no pets on first floor" policy. There is no mention of this anywhere on the website or online. I asked to see the manager who was not on the property. The staff member finally contacted someone by phone and after over an hour, we were finally given the room with the roll in shower but only for this stay. I understand wanting to have pet free rooms and a pet free area, however for someone needing the safety of that shower and it being the only room on the property with that, I wish there was a pet exception for that room. The no pets on the first policy still remains in place. We stay at this property because of the very reasonable pet deposit required whereas that deposit at other properties is near or at $100.00.

• The WiFi did not work, called to report the issue and the front desk said she’ll call her manager, we heard nothing back. • The air conditioner did not work. Tried to turn it down lower, it blew air but did not cool the room. • Room had a weird smell like almost mildewy but not yet full blown mildew. • The shower curtain was mounted too high so it did not fit in the shower and water would get everywhere if the shower head was not facing the wall. • TV remote didn’t work properly. • The sheets felt damp when we got in the bed. • There was construction material by the entrance we used, looked like a safety hazard for those with small children or who don’t pay attention. • Side door on our side of the building didn’t work so we had to go the long way around. If we didn’t just drive over 13 hours we would’ve gotten a refund and went somewhere else but we were too tired to change hotels. Do NOT fall for the pictures of the property, it’s a trap lol but for real pictures are outdated.
