We were there with neighbors during the Texas winter storm. It was chaotic, & supplies were low, but the staff were heroic & professional in their efforts, even after the power failed. Can’t thank them enough.
Lovely, clean room. Hard to judge "facilities" when many of them are closed due to COVID. Front desk had little info when it came to ordering in food. Front desk attendant had to take a bit of time to get the computers and printer working in their little business center, but ultimately all was fine. ...

We had a great stay, the room was clean and the skyline view from our room was very pretty. A vacation simply isn't complete without your pet at your side. Bringing your furry friend along for the ride has never been easier with pet-friendly hotels in Austin. Pet-friendly hotels will allow you to bring your animals in the rooms with you, often for a fee. Many hotels will go further and offer a genuinely warm welcome to your extra guest, and provide bedding, water and food. By bringing your best friend with you, you will not have to dish out money for expensive pet-sitters or boarding. But keep in mind that policies vary by property, so please check with the individual hotel to see if it suits your needs.
After you both get settled in your room, your playful pal will probably be ready to get out and explore with you. If you are bringing your pup with you, you can bring them out to dog parks, pet-friendly restaurants, and stores. Speak with the front desk, and they'll give you some ideas if you aren't sure about where to take your pet. And if you need some space from your furry crew, the front desk can help you find pet-sitting and walking services close by. There may even be a pet-sitting service available, so double-check when you look at the hotel information.
At AARP Travel, you'll discover that we give a broad spectrum of hotels that accommodate pets. Some of them do even more to make your stay with your pet enjoyable. Some hotels have conveniences, like posh beds, food bowls, t-r-e-a-t-s, pet food, and dog-walking services. So why should you stay in a pet-friendly hotel? The simple answer is to choose a hotel that allows your pet to stay with you. High-end hotels may offer optional add-ons such as dog-walking, grooming or pet meals. So cancel the pet-sitter, pack the treats, and head off on your shared getaway.
