“A very comfortable Highland Hotel. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. A nice touch was the tea and coffee in the room with delicious shortbread! Good bar ( with resident cat, Seymour) and spacious restaurant.”

“All the information was sent to us with enough time. The place was clean and even the cabin was a bit small it was really cozy. The location is amazing and the views give an impression of privacy and nature.”

“Pleasant traditional Highland Hotel. Friendly and efficient check in. Bar well stocked with pleasant adjoining lounge. The venison dinner special was excellent. A good stopping point on way north .”

“Please look in the host book on arrival. It is very helpful. The extra linen is hidden in the ottoman. Very clever. It was a very lovely stay!!”

“Breakfast was included and is a good value. They will cook traditional Scottish breakfast that includes haggish or black pudding, or traditional US breakfast such as omelettes and eggs, etc.. The golf course is 5 min an away by car and the recommended restaurants such as Greens Restaurant, and Platform 1864, within walking distance. The bathroom was newly re-furbished but other parts of the hotel a bit rustic”

“Room and bathroom small but comfortable. Dinner was very average. Breakfast was good.”

“Room adequate though mystified why no plug for kettle unless it was on the floor! Our evening meal was very nice. Sadly breakfast was not. Dreadfully short staffed. Lady cooking was apparently also the only staff available to pay. We waited an hour after ordering , poached eggs were hard and cold on cold toast. Had to keep asking for toast for marmalade . No water in coffee machine and young very pleasant waitress was unsure how it worked. The coffee wasn’t nice either. 2 customers walked out...
