“We enjoyed our Stay at Moresby hall. Nice old building in a nice spot. Nice room although the shower seemed to be leaking as the floor was constantly wet. Although this is a dog friendly hotel which I think should be made more clear when looking for hotels. I do think allowing dogs in a dining area is acceptable. “I stayed for two nights (Friday & Saturday) at Craglands Guest House in June 2026. The host, Eldon, was very friendly, helpful and hospitable. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are perfect for a pair of weary trekker legs at the end of the day. The guesthouse is a stone’s throw (4 min walk) from a pub which was great for the football.
