“Lovely little bolt hole next to a great pub. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day.”

“I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. “The owner was proactive and contacted me in plenty of time with details such as where to park. The flat has good cooking facilities and a very effective washer/dryer for your clothes. The bed was comfortable if a bit soft for my liking. This is an excellent base for exploring around Bristol and to the south. If your satnav suggests using Manor Road to approach from the south force it to use wider roads, Manor Rd is more like a Devon lane than a real road!”
