Apartamentos en Alciston

“This place is little better than a youth hostel: unwelcoming, grim, dirty and unsafe. You would do better sleeping in a skip. There are no human beings involved in the entire process; all communication is through WhatsApp. Upon "registering" you are presented with a series of additional charges not mentioned on the booking site before "check-in". The "hotel" is completely unmarked on a grotty street just off the beachfront. It apparently operates under multiple names. The front door to the...

“The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time.”

“Great location”

“Gorgeous flat, quiet, really comfortable, fantastic set up with everything you need in the kitchen, clean, and even a couple of croissants left for breakfast. The bed was comfy, the room was dark and a blackbird very gently woke us up at a reasonable time in the morning. At the end of the road are loads of decent eateries as well as a lovely pub with excellent bar staff. There's on street parking outside, free overnight to 9am, and then £6.50 for 4 hours. I think you likely have to move...

“Beautiful studio in an absolute excellent location. Can’t wait to come back!!”

“This property is in disrepair and is not being maintained. One part of the floor is sinking and propped by loose boards. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. ”

“Very good experience. Many thanks.”

“Thanks for a great stay. We loved the property. It is beautifully decorated. It stayed wonderfully cool. The beds were very comfortable. It was perfectly clean and as described. We can’t fault it. We’ve stayed in many apartments in Brighton and this has been our favourite.”

“The property itself is really nice. Very comfortable and within a short walk to most places someone would want to go. The checkin was a little out of the way, and the areas around the front of the building at full of trash, homeless people, and a stench of urine. It is also a very loud area at night and the apartment itself doesnt do well with keeping the sound out. It could be a really nice place with a little TLC. ”

“This is a shared bathroom with at least 6 other rooms which is unsuitable if you are travelling with an elderly parent. There is also No Parking despite this being advertised. The property did not reply to me about address and parking until the day AFTER my stay. Prooery did not reply to Expedia when we needed urgent support. We had to find our own alternative accommodation and still no resolution or contact from the property!!”
