Beautiful old building kept up wonderfully. Loved the grounds, good food, amazing staff. Just wonderful stay. Would definitely return to this hotel. metro stop, drug store and dining within walking distance.

The air-conditioning was very loud. There is no central airflow. The indoor unit is very loud, it is very difficult to sleep next to it. Also we were on the top floor near the elevator, it was very noisy, there was constant noise.

Awesome staff and such a variety of food! Place is so convenient!

I had a wonderful stay at the Arlo Washington DC. The room, service, and breakfast were all top-notch. The breakfast was, without a doubt, the best I've had at any hotel I've ever stayed at. A very special thank you to Maddie at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help make our stay truly unforgettable. Many thanks to Michael at the front desk as well, along with the maintenance and cleaning staff. Everyone contributed to such a fantastic experience during our stay. In my opinion, the Arlo is the best place to stay in DC. I can't recommend it highly enough and look forward to staying there again.

Expected better from crown plaza

This place is absolutely great. The staff is amazing. There were hiccups, but they did what they had to to make them right. I will say, it could definitely use some updating, but that didn't bother me. Frankly, with its staff and layout, if they update too well, the price could be double and be reasonable...so I'm fine if they keep as is, lol. Definitely worth it and then some. The in house restaurant/bar has good food. It's a little pricey though, especially for breakfast. Dinner seemed reasonable and food was excellent. Definitely had a great time here.
