“Está un poco alejada del Centro. Para ser un Bed and Breakfast, tiene muchas pretensiones. Se me hizo caro, el único desayuno que ofrecen es Continental y está en tres casas victorianas separadas entre si. Poco práctica. Oxford es caro, pero aún así me pareció desproporcionada la tarifa.”

“The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.”

“I recently stayed at the Old Abbey House Hotel in Abingdon and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, with a modern yet characterful feel, and the location is excellent for exploring the town. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our stay. “A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be.”
