“We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.”

“The apartment was very comfortable, with absolutely everything you need for self catering, including milk and coffee/tea making facilities (and a tea pot!). The bed was comfortable. Absolutely stunning view on two sides. Would stay again, without hesitation. ”

“James welcomed sincerely and warmly. There was such a serenity to the property. Lawns were mowed, edges clipped, everything kept neat and very clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And the location was superb. The views were unbelievable. Such beauty in every direction. It was a restorative, restful and uplifting stay. ”

“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”
