“There's a lot to praise at Dunston hall and you'll read about that elsewhere. I just want to point out one defect in the hope that someone at Dunston Hall will see this and take some action to prevent it happening again. “Professional and friendly staff. Rooms had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Location was good with major attractions very close. Although we liked the hotel, we felt it somehow lacked atmosphere: there was nothing really to invite you to linger in the communal rooms or to entice you towards the bar and restaurant (music playing, welcome drink, etc).”
