“The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. It was unplanned and we were frantically searching for somewhere that could take us in over the bank holiday weekend as we were camping with our 1 year old and our tent leaked and flooded! They couldn’t have been more helpful in accommodating us. Ensuring we had what we needed for the baby and generally just being warm and welcoming. The room was lovely, clean and quaint.
